Urtuk The Desolation is a tactical turn-based RPG in an open fantasy world. Guide a group of adventurers through the ruins of the ancient world. Hire new followers, study the corpses of your fallen enemies and do everything possible to survive in this harsh and inexorable world. Learn skills and traits from fallen enemies and apply them to your units! These custom abilities can completely change the character’s role in battle. Released abilities include pushing the enemy during a critical strike, striking back at the strike, preventing a lethal strike and counterattacking the enemy’s life! Your characters also learn new skills when performing certain actions in battles.

The story begins when the main character, Urtuk, escapes from the sanatorium, where experiments with abducted commoners are conducted. Urtuk underwent a serious mutation due to the impact of a vital essence, and every day his health is deteriorating. Now he roams the world in search of a cure. If he cannot find a way to counter his evolving mutation, Urtuk must eventually die.

The world of the game is a place of hard work, suffering and darkness. There are no elves, gnomes, dragons, or other classic fantasy creatures. There are some light magic elements, but there are no too powerful sorcerers.
Many centuries ago, the Giants roamed the world, living peacefully with people, until the war between the two species died out of the Giants. A few years ago, a clique of scientists opened the process of extracting the essence of life of ancient giants from their bones.
